Review: Derek Fallon wins the lottery – a huge ticket!! He is splitting a billion dollars. Derek now has all of these buying options, and it seems like life it going to be easy as can be. Soon Derek realizes that having all of this money is not as simple as it seems, and the money is causing him stress. I think the author does a really good job of making the readers feel excited for the characters and also truly understand the life lessons along the way associated with being responsible with money. The little picture images that go along with the vocabulary words are helpful and fun, but don’t always totally match up with the sentences in the book. I think this is a very enjoyable book, but a tad slow and could have been 50 pages shorter. It’s the only one I’ve read in the series so far, and I look forward to trying another.
