As their paths unfold across a fractured kingdom, both characters must face inner and outer demons to protect what remains of Ravka.

Review:
King of Scars continues Bardugo’s intricate Grishaverse, bringing together beloved characters in a story rich with magic, politics, and emotional depth. While the first half moves slowly due to multiple perspectives and complex worldbuilding, the pace accelerates as the plot threads come together. Bardugo’s strength lies in her nuanced, flawed characters who grow through loss, loyalty, and love. The novel explores courage, identity, and self-discovery amid chaos, making it an excellent choice for advanced readers who enjoy immersive fantasy. With its layered relationships, political intrigue, and gorgeous design, King of Scars is a worthy addition to any library collection.
