Summary:
Set in the eerie small town of Loving, Ohio, this horror graphic novel follows four teens—Sloane, Elliott, Cameron, and Ana—grappling with grief after their friend’s mysterious suicide. Their town is controlled by The Chorus, a cult-like organization whose influence reaches every level of the community. When more deaths occur, the teens are forced into a dangerous mystery that reveals the corruption and darkness surrounding them.

Review:
Loving, Ohio combines atmospheric horror with a powerful coming-of-age story. The artwork effectively conveys the oppressive mood and emotional weight of living in a town consumed by cult influence. While the plot builds strong suspense, the ending feels less intense than expected. Still, the story’s exploration of fear, grief, and hope will resonate with readers. This is a strong recommendation for high schoolers who enjoy dark, psychological graphic novels with a touch of the supernatural.
